Pleasant Hill, California, is a suburb within Contra Costa County with a current population of about 33,000. This San Francisco Bay Area city has a lot to offer both residents and visitors alike. The city was not incorporated until 1961, so this city is not really that old. Still, settlers moved into this area much earlier. There was a post office founded here in the 1940s.
